Tech enthusiasts, take note: Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16.
Earlier today (September 9), Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage at the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event, held at Apple’s Cupertino, California campus, to introduce the much-anticipated smartphone.
The iPhone 16, available in four models, has been teased for months, and now it’s finally here with features that distinguish it from its predecessors.
Design The iPhone 16 “celebrates color” with five unique shades and boasts a “new glass ceramic formulation” that’s 50 percent stronger than the original shield. The phone comes in two sizes: 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, with an aluminum finish.
It also features a customizable action button for quick shortcuts and actions, along with a dedicated camera button that lets you slide between functions.
Camera The camera works in tandem with the Chat GPT function, enabling users to retrieve information about their surroundings or text in front of them.
Chip Along with the new iPhone comes the A18 chip, designed to enhance the phone’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The iPhone 16 is expected to hit stores later this month and will be available from retailers such as Sky Mobile, Amazon, and Carphone Warehouse.
